I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

St. Patrick's Day Tree, 2016

The Winter Decorations have been packed away and the Den is now decorated for St. Patrick's Day!!

First, I want to thank Heather over at Frugal Mom of 8, for picking my post, Dining Room Valentine Decorations, The Buffet , as her feature from last week's Tips and Tricks Linky Party!!
Thanks to all the hosts of this great party especially Heather!!

I also want to Thank Karren, over at Oh My Heartsie Girl, for featuring my post, Valentine Decor in the Kitchen,, from last week's Friday Features Linky Party!!
 Thanks so much , Karren!!

Today, I am going to share my St. Patrick's Day Tree!!

This 4 1/2 foot Tree was first decorated for Christmas........
 And then for Winter.......
And now for St. Patrick's Day!!
I stripped the Tree down to the lights and added a strand of green lights.......
I made a bow for the top using white and green deco mesh ribbon......
I tucked in some 4 leaf clover picks into the top of the Tree........
I also used some plain ball ornaments in 3 different colors of green bought at after Christmas sales.

And then I added my St. Patrick's Day themed ornaments........

I bought these plaques at Michael's on Clearance a few years ago and decided to hang them on the Tree......
And some actual little plaque ornaments......
A few Leprechauns.......
And shamrocks.....
A few pots of gold.......
A few Irish angels......
3 different Irish tea pot ornaments......
These were bought at Michael's a few years ago......
St. Patrick himself!!
An Irish pipe or 2......
A Yard Sale find......
I also used green beaded garland bought after Christmas one year, shamrock wire garland, St. Patrick's Day party hat favors, glittered shamrock picks and white carnations with green glittered edges to decorate the Tree.......
And here it is.......

At the base of the Tree on the table......
A shamrock from the Dollar Tree......
Laying on 2 St. Patrick's Day dish towels as a Tree skirt......
I also decorated an Irish hat with some green and white carnations......
Truth be told, I was actually going to give away all my St. Patrick's Day decorations and not decorate for St. Patrick's Day any more but when I unpacked everything, I really liked the things that I had.......
In my next post, I will share how I decorated the china cupboard in the Den for St. Patrick's Day......

So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie
