I am a Victorian Soul, live in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion, with my Hubby Joe, who is a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am LOVING Retirement!!!!

Valentine Decor in the Kitchen, 2016

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Yes, I am still sharing my Valentine decor!!

I leave up my Valentine's Day and Winter Decorations until the end of February because February is Heart Month as deemed by the American Heart Association!!

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated the Kitchen for Valentine's Day......

I changed out my vintage aprons that normally hang on this wall with Valentine aprons that were bought on Clearance in Wegman's several years ago.......

I hung a string of hearts on the hutch.....

I added a few heart ornaments to my Winter Tree in the Kitchen.......

And I hung this plaque on the knob of the drawers of the desk part of the hutch.....

Some Valentine dish towels....

I like to decorate the area where the Kitchen window once was......

I left up the garland that I hung for Christmas.....

And hung a few hearts from it.....

I made a bow out of some pretty Valentine ribbon to attach to the chandy........

And hung another heart from the chandy.......

On the old window sill......

A little bit of pink......

Faux cookies and a Valentine cupcake.....

A Valentine Chalkboard plaque that I bought on Clearance last year........

I decided to display my Valentine Candy Bar on top of the refrigerator this year........

I also left up the garland from Christmas here too......

And hung a few hearts from it.........

And I want to show you something that I bought in Big Lot's.........

I always say that I know how to cook but I just hate to cook so I had to buy this!!

I want to share with you what our weather was like this Valentine's Day!!

Yes, The temp this morning was -7!!!!!

With wind chills of -22!!!

I still have one more Valentine post to do where I will show you my Winter and Valentine decorations in the Powder Room......
